The European Commission’s Executive Vice-President, Margrethe Vestager, assured the European Parliament on Monday 5 June that she was working hard to make the regulatory framework for State aid “simpler, faster and more predictable” in order to stimulate investment in the net-zero emissions industry and prevent it from relocating outside the European Union, before the Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs of the European Parliament.
