“there will be no compromise under Swedish Presidency” of EU Council regarding digitalisation of judicial cooperation, says European Parliament rapporteur Emil Radev

“There is no real willingness to compromise on the part of the Council”. Heard on 30 May by the European Parliament’s Committee on Legal Affairs (JURI) on the occasion of its report following the inter-institutional negotiations on the regulation on the digitalisation of judicial cooperation and access to justice (see EUROPE B12844A12) held on 25 May (see EUROPE B13189A2), MEP Emil Radev (EPP, Bulgarian) announced that there would be “no compromise under the Swedish Presidency”.
