Travel for medical reasons does not open door to subsidiary protection regime

Brussels, 18/12/2014 (Agence Europe) - Third-country nationals authorised to travel to a member state for medical treatment cannot at the same time take advantage of the subsidiary protection scheme and the associated economic and social advantages, the Court of Justice of the EU ruled on Thursday 18 December.
