Strasbourg, 11/03/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Commissioners for Trade, Pascal Lamy, and for Culture and Education, Viviane Reding, sought on Monday evening in Strasbourg to show MEPs that negotiations at the WTO on services (GATS) will not involve the dismantling of public services in Europe (see EUROPE of 8 March, p.11, and of 6 February, p.8).
