04/12/23 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 4 December, the EU Council extended the EU’s Global Human Rights Sanctions Regime for a further 3 years, until 8 December 2026. Sanctions currently apply to 67 natural and legal persons and 20 entities. The individuals and entities targeted are subject to a travel ban to the EU and an asset freeze.
