CAN Europe stresses need for social protection in energy renovation of buildings

In the context of the inter-institutional negotiations on the revision of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) (see EUROPE B12854A13), the European branch of the NGO coalition Climate Action Network (CAN Europe) published a report on Monday 6 November calling for socially responsible energy renovation. 

The document stresses the importance of revising the EPBD not only for the environment, but also to ensure healthy living conditions for European citizens.
