Brussels, 10/10/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 5 October, the Chairs of five European Parliament committees renewed their invitation to the CEO of TikTok, Shou Zi Chew, to take part in a joint hearing before MEPs. An initial invitation was sent to the video-sharing platform’s CEO in July 2023 to discuss the company’s growth and the legal responsibilities that this entails. Mr Chew turned it down.
