European Commission gives green light to Shell’s acquisition of EGO

03/10/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 3 October, the European Commission announced that it had authorised the acquisition of sole control of EGO S.r.l. (Italy), a company mainly active in electricity trading, by Shell Plc (UK), which is active in oil and gas exploration, the production and supply of petroleum products and the sale of renewable energy products.
