European Commission allocates €352 million to low or zero emission transport projects

On Monday 11 July, the Commission announced the 26 projects in 12 Member States that will receive funding for the deployment of alternative fuel infrastructures along the trans-European transport network (TEN-T).

This funding amounts to some €352 million in the form of grants from the EU’s ‘Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Facility’ (AFIF), under the aegis of the ‘Connecting Europe Facility’ (CEF), with additional capital from financial institutions to increase the impact of...
