EU Council approves extension of current Generalised Scheme of Preferences beyond December 2023

06/09/2023 (Agence Europe) – In the absence of an agreement in the trilogue on the revision of the Generalised Scheme of Preferences (GSP) (see EUROPE B13211A31), on Wednesday 6 September the EU Council adopted its negotiating mandate for the regulation extending the current system beyond 2023.
