Inauguration of one of Europe’s longest underwater tunnels financed by EU

30/06/2023 (Agence Europe) – Europe’s longest EU-funded underwater tunnel was officially inaugurated in Poland on Friday 30 June. The tunnel links the islands of Usedom and Wolin, as well as the city centre of Świnoujście to the rest of the country. It offers residents and visitors a seamless transport solution and will act as a catalyst for economic development in the region.
