Council/Parliament political agreement on text relating to Farm Sustainability Data Network

On Thursday 29 June, negotiators from the Council of the European Union and the European Parliament reached a provisional political agreement on the proposal for a regulation on the Farm Sustainability Data Network (FSDN).

The text aims to amend the existing regulation on the Farm Accountancy Data Network (FADN) to better reflect the goals of the ‘farm to fork’ strategy. The aim is to improve the sustainability of the EU’s food systems through an enhanced data collection process.
