European Parliament calls for more ambitious EU support for outermost regions

15/06/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 13 June, the European Parliament called on the European Commission to adopt a more ambitious policy for the EU’s outermost regions. The report by Álvaro Amaro (EPP, Portuguese) on this subject was adopted with 589 votes in favour, 22 against and 16 abstentions.
