European Parliament could reiterate its call for imposition of new sanctions against Ortega regime

During a debate at the European Parliament’s plenary session on Tuesday 13 June, the EPP, Renew Europe, Greens/EFA and ECR groups called on the European Union to impose new targeted sanctions against the Ortega regime, in particular against certain judges and prosecutors affiliated with the current government.
