Public consultation on ecodesign requirements for energy labelling of cooking appliances

On Thursday 8 June, the European Commission launched a 12-week public consultation on ecodesign and energy labelling requirements for cooking appliances. 

Existing legislation on the subject dating from 2013 sets minimum energy efficiency requirements for ovens, hobs and cooker hoods (Regulation 65/2014) and establishes energy labelling rules for ovens and cooker hoods (Regulation 66/2014).
