Commission calls on six EU Member States to address lack of DSA national coordinators

On Wednesday 24 April, the European Commission announced that it had sent letters of formal notice to Estonia, Poland, Slovakia, Cyprus, Czech Republic and Portugal for failing to formally designate their national coordinator for the Digital Services Act (DSA), which has been mandatory since 17 February.

Estonia, Poland and Slovakia have not yet made their designations, while the other three Member States “still have to empower them with the necessary powers and competences to carry out...
