ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) energy

E.ON ENERGIE, the electricity subsidiary of the German energy group E.ON, is to acquire 25.1% of the electricity producer EMR - ELEKTRIZITAETSWERK MIDEN-RAVENSBERG (turnover EUR 262.8 million in 1999 with 285,000 clients) for the sum of EUR 133 million.
