European Banking Authority’s roadmap for implementation in EU of rules finalising ‘Basel III’ agreement

15/12/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 14 December, the European Banking Authority (EBA) published its roadmap for implementing the latest ‘Basel III’ reforms in the European Union (see EUROPE B13210A1). This roadmap clarifies in particular how it will draw up the mandates for implementing the future European banking prudential rules, with the aim of finalising the most important elements before 1 January 2025.
