After more than 37 hours of negotiations, European Parliament and EU Council reach an agreement on artificial intelligence

Negotiators from the European Parliament and the EU Council reached a provisional political agreement on the draft legislation on artificial intelligence (‘AI Act’) (see EUROPE B13310A8) shortly before midnight on Friday 8 and Saturday 9 December, after more than 37 hours of intense discussions.
