The European Commission approved, on Thursday 16 November, the revised post-Covid-19 plans for Germany, Belgium, Cyprus and Latvia, which, apart from the German plan, contain ‘REPowerEU’ chapters designed to accelerate the energy transition and reduce dependence on Russian hydrocarbons.
