Early on Monday 13 November, negotiators from the Council of the European Union and the European Parliament reached a provisional political agreement on legislation for an interoperable Europe. This agreement, which comes at a time when inter-institutional negotiations (‘trilogues’) began on 10 October (see EUROPE B13267A11), should speed up the digital transformation of the public sector and raise the level of interoperability of cross-border administrations and services.
