European Commission authorises a Lithuanian measure worth €193 million to develop offshore wind turbines

04/10/23 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 4 October, the European Commission announced that it had approved a €193 million Lithuanian programme to support the development of offshore wind farms. The measure will be open to companies operating in Lithuania and other Member States via a call for tenders for authorisation to develop and operate a new offshore wind farm in an area of the Baltic Sea.
