European Globalisation Adjustment Fund has helped 13,000 workers made redundant between 2021 and 2022, according to a Commission report

23/08/23 (Agence Europe) – The European Globalisation Adjustment Fund has helped 13,000 redundant workers to retrain and find new jobs, said the Commission in a press release on 11 August. “According to the 2021-2022 Activity Report of the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund for Displaced Workers (EGF), the EU has allocated €51.8 million from the EGF to help more than 13,000 displaced and self-employed workers retrain and find jobs.” The Commission received applications from...
