EFSA recommends increased surveillance of avian influenza virus

13/07/23 (Agence Europe) – The highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) virus continues to circulate on a large scale among seabirds in Europe, leading to high mortality rates, even though the general poultry situation has improved, according to a report by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) published on Thursday 13 July.
