European Parliament rejects proposal on measures to manage fisheries resources in Indian Ocean

11/07/23 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 11 July, the European Parliament decided to reject (48 votes in favour, 585 against and 6 abstentions) a European Commission proposal on measures to manage fisheries resources in the Indian Ocean. The rapporteur on this matter is João Pimenta Lopes (The Left, Portuguese) (see EUROPE B13187A7).
