The High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs, Josep Borell, announced on Monday 26 June, following a meeting of the EU Council of Foreign Ministers, that “political and financial” measures could be taken against Belgrade and Pristina if the two parties failed to put an end to the tension and violence in northern Kosovo.
