European Commission proposes that EU Council officially sign Sustainable Investment Facilitation Agreement with Luanda

Following the conclusion of negotiations on the EU-Angola Sustainable Investment Facilitation Agreement (see EUROPE B13066A16) in November 2022, the text is finally ready and the Commission submitted the signature proposal to the EU Council on Friday 16 June. Once the EU27 have given the go-ahead, the two partners will be able to sign the agreement, which will be sent to the European Parliament for approval.
