Overwhelming majority in UK Parliament in favour of ‘Windsor Framework’

22/03/2023 (Agence Europe) – After EU Member States approved it on Tuesday (see EUROPE B13146A24), British MPs approved by a large majority (515 votes in favour, 29 against), on Wednesday 22 March, the ‘Windsor Framework’ amending the Protocol on Ireland/Northern Ireland, which the European Commission and the British government had agreed at the end of February (see EUROPE B13130A2).
