Czech Presidency of EU Council calls another extraordinary meeting of EU ministers for 13 December

28/11/2022 (Agence Europe) – The Czech Minister of Industry and Trade, Jozef Síkela, announced on the evening of Friday 25 November that the energy ministers of the EU Member States will meet again in Brussels on 13 December, to discuss the capping of gas prices. This extraordinary meeting - the fifth under the Czech Presidency of the EU Council - will aim in particular to reach a compromise on the European Commission’s proposal for a gas price cap (see EUROPE B13068A2).
