The European Commission adopted, on Thursday 30 June, a new strategy to “drive” its internal digital transformation. This strategy, which continues and complements the broad guidelines set out in the previous one, adopted in 2018, is based on several major axes.
In this new version, the emphasis is on fostering the institution’s “digital literacy” by empowering staff and training them to “equip them with the necessary skills and tools to ‘think digital first’”.
