On Tuesday, 24 May, the Council of the EU unanimously adopted the regulation to suspend tariffs on imports from Ukraine for one year. This proposal was published by the European Commission at the end of April (see EUROPE B12940A3) and approved by the European Parliament last week (see EUROPE B12956A6).
The suspension of tariffs also applies to the tariff quotas applicable under the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement as well as the EU anti-dumping duties in force on certain products.
