EPO launches new platform to fight coronavirus

06/07/2020 (Agence Europe) – The European Patent Office (EPO) announced on Monday 6 July the launch of a new platform to combat coronavirus. The platform is seeking to speed up the dissemination of patent information to researchers and policy makers in order to combat SARS-CoV-2. Thus, the first datasets published on this platform concern antiviral vaccines and therapeutic pharmaceuticals.
