On Friday 19 April, the European Commission introduced new European rules aimed at reducing energy consumption and improving the reparability of local space heaters, whether electric or using gaseous or liquid fuels.
These rules, which replace previous ecodesign measures, are the result of extensive stakeholder consultation and a review by the European Parliament and the EU Council.
