On Thursday 28 January, the Court of Justice of the European Union confirmed the European Commission’s decision of March 2017 to impose a fine of €580,000 on the US company Qualcomm for abusing its dominant position on the UMTS baseband chipsets market (Case C-466/19) (see EUROPE B11448A5).
