European satellite navigation system Galileo is experiencing a new failure

The European satellite navigation system, Galileo, which is in a pilot phase, is "currently affected by a technical incident related to its ground infrastructure", the European GNSS Supervisory Authority (GSA) announced in a statement on Sunday 14 July.

According to the European Union Agency, the incident, which occurred on 11 July, resulted in a temporary interruption of Galileo's initial navigation and timing services, with the exception of the SAR search and rescue service, the service...
