Joint Parliamentary Assembly calls for measures to protect fish stocks in ACP states and EU

Brussels, 22/06/2006 (Agence Europe) - The ACP-EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly ended in Vienna on Thursday with a call for fish stock and marine resource preservation measures to ensure sustainable fisheries in both the EU and ACP states (African, Caribbean and Pacific) which have signed fishing agreements with the EU.
