EUR 122 million to Morocco under National Financing Plan for 2002

Brussels, 15/11/2002 (Agence Europe) - On 15 November, the European Commission decided to grant EUR 122 million to Morocco under the National Financing Plan for 2002. This decision was taken on the basis of Morocco's Strategy Document and the aims of the MEDA programme. EUR 61 million will go to the Business Support Programme, which aims to develop and modernise the private sector, strengthen the Moroccan economy and improve its competitiveness in the prospect of establishing an EU/Morocco...
