Wilfried Martens re-elected to head EPP

Estoril, 18/10/2002 (Agence Europe) - By 88% of the votes in Estoril on Thursday evening, Wilfried Martens was re-elected as President of the European People's Party (249 votes vs 27 with 7 abstentions). This will be the former Belgian prime minister's fifth three-year term in office as head of the EPP.
