David Byrne presents Parliament with Commission's intentions regarding drawing up future framework-directive ion fair trading practices

Brussels, 12/06/2002 (Agence Europe) - Presenting the Commission's communication on the follow-up to the Green Paper on consumer protection in the Union (see yesterday's EUROPE p.15) to plenary, Commissioner David Byrne stressed the need to pursue consultations before launching itself into the drafting of a framework-directive on fair trading practices.
