EIB finances hospital modernisation in Styria

Luxembourg, 10/06/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank (EIB)has granted a long-term EUR 100 million loan to the Land of Styria in Austria to upgrade Graz University Clinic and 6 other hospitals. Obsolete healthcare infrastructure will be replaced in all seven hospitals. Styria will pass the funds on to Steiermärkische Krankenanstalengesellschaft mbH, its wholly owned hospital company.
