Residence Palace site likely to be selected for European Summits

Brussels, 06/06/2002 (Agence Europe) - Brussels-Capital region has selected the Residence Palace site (the press centre set up by the Belgian Presidency) for future European Councils since the Nice Summit conclusions indicated that they will be held in Brussels. Building work will be necessary to enlarge one of the wings of the Residence Palace building and to build infrastructure (possibly underground) to link up with the Council building and also to destroy a building situated between the...
