Major farmers' demonstration on 11 June in Strasbourg, with candidate countries

Brussels, 06/06/2002 (Agence Europe) - The Committee of Agricultural Organisations in the European Union (COPA), the General Committee of Agricultural Cooperatives in the EU (COGECA), and the European Council of Young Farmers (ECYF/CEJA) is organising a demonstration on 11 June in Strasbourg in which 15,000 are expected to take part. Farmers of candidate countries will be involved in the event.
