Initiatives of the European Forum of Civil Society, strengthening mobilisation of NGOs

Brussels, 29/03/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Forum of the Civil Society has taken stock of the situation of work with a view to drawing up the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights, during a meeting in Brussels at the headquarters of the International European Movement (chaired by José Maria Gil-Robles). The Forum, which made an urgent appeal for the mobilisation of all NGOs that work for a "Europe of democracy, solidarity, and the rights and dignity of the individual", decided to:
