ETUC feels that undertakings of Lisbon Summit must concentrate on "main economic guidelines", "fiscal package" and future social agenda

Brussels, 29/03/2000 (Agence Europe) - Reacting positively to the results of the Lisbon Summit, which constitutes "as a whole a progression and development in the right direction", the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC), nevertheless regrets that the Union proposal to set a explicit timetable for the reduction of unemployment was not retained.
