Opening of 30th session of Joint Assembly - Nigerian President welcomes introduction of good governance in new ACP-EU Convention

Abuja, 20/03/2000 (Agence Europe) - The 30th session of the ACP-EU Joint Assembly opened on Monday 20 March in Abuja (Nigeria) with a formal session in which the Presidents of the Nigerian National Assembly, Ghali Umar N'Abba, and the Senate, Chubaa Okadigbo, thanked the Joint Assembly for the support it provided to the reestablishment of democracy, following decades of military intrusion into public life.
