Brussels, 08/03/2000 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday, the European Commission adopted Recommendations to the EcoFin Council (which will take a stance at its 13 March meeting) on the updated stability programmes presented by France, Luxembourg and Portugal. These three countries are the subject of a positive assessment on the part of the Commission in that they meet the demands of the Stability and Growth Pact, but Commissioner Pedro Solbes stressed at a press conference that they presented...
