European Commission launches call for proposals to support solar photovoltaic and wind energy projects in Finland and Estonia

On Tuesday 30 July, the European Commission launched a second cross-border call for proposals, worth €52.4 million, for renewable energies under the EU Renewable Energy Financing Mechanism (RENEWFM).

This mechanism, set up in 2020 and managed by the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA), encourages cooperation between EU countries in the field of renewable energies by hosting or contributing financially to each other’s projects.
