European Commission orders six Member States to designate national DSA coordinator

On Thursday 25 July, the Commission opened formal infringement proceedings against Belgium, Croatia, Spain, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Sweden for non-compliance with obligations under the Digital Services Act.

It criticises them for not yet having appointed a national coordinator for the DSA, which has been compulsory since 17 February, or for not having provided a specific authority with the necessary resources (see EUROPE B13399A24).
