On Thursday 25 July, the European Commission announced that it had decided to send a letter of formal notice to Denmark, the Netherlands, Slovenia and Finland for failing to transpose into their national legislation Directive (EU) 2024/242 amending Directive 2009/43/EC as regards updating the list of defence-related products.
