Member States approve European Parliament/Council provisional agreement on geographical indications for industrial and craft products

24/05/23 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 24 May, the Member States’ ambassadors to the EU (Coreper) approved the provisional agreement on the protection of industrial and craft products. The co-signatories had reached an agreement after two negotiating sessions (‘trilogues’) (see EUROPE B13174A7). The Parliament must in turn approve the text for it to be formally adopted by the Council and enter into force.(LM)
